Will Paint For Beer: Beck’s New Art Labels

This article in the Food Republic By Laura Neilson is a great way to advertise your product. I thought the labels were outstanding and I will keep an eye out for the beer which is one of my favorites!

Heres the rest of the article:
More artsy than artisanal, Beck’s enlisted six independent artists to dress up its bottles with limited-edition labels—on sale now through the end of July at select retailers.

Collaborations with artists and graphic designers seems to be a pretty hot trend in label design these days, but this is no new concept for the brand. Beck’s has been promoting the work of artists on its bottles of suds for over 25 years now, including images by Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Yoko Ono and Jeff Koons.

This year’s diverse lineup of creative types includes balloon sculpture artist Willy Chyr, hyper-clever Miami conceptual artists Bert Rodriguez and Freegums, Geoff McFetridge — the designer and artist who masterminded one very cool video for the band OK Go! with over 2,000 pieces of toast — and M.I.A., better-known for her Grammy-nominated music. Check out labels below.
